The 300 years old Inn at Fossebridge has been fully refurbished to provide a fabulous location in the heart of the Cotswolds.

  • Georgian inn
  • All eight bedrooms have been styled after Cotswolds towns and villages
  • It has a high reputation for quality English food and service.

The Inn at Fossebridge, on the A429 between Cirencester and Northleach, is a perfect location for visiting all the Cotswolds. It is a 300 year old coaching inn and hotel, and in 2005 the then new owners set about a major restoration programme, to fully represent its Georgian character. There are eight wonderfully redecorated and refurnished bedrooms, a superb dining room and excellent ancillary room for business meetings or family dinner parties.

The bedrooms are named after Cotswold towns and villages; many of the framed prints on the walls represent the Cotswold of yesterday; the guide book is of today..each painting pictures of the rolling hills, valleys, escarpments….the wool trade, famous churches, the days when famous stained glass windows had to be hidden because Oliver Cromwell found them abhorrent. The Inn at Fossebridge is rightly sloganed “a world away” because that is what it is, whether for a break, a wedding or a party.

"Despite your predicament – flooding, no electricity etc- you welcomed us most warmly with a fire, candles on the table and delicious food. Your cheerfulness and helpfulness despite your problems amazed us all"
